Now that I've wrestled the computer away from Derrek, I'll take a few minutes to make my post before giving it back to him so he can continue to have him fun picking on Mike.
Hi, everyone! I hope you're all doing really well! The sun's been starting to shine here, which is really really nice, and I always love it when winter's over. I like winter and all, but I'm just a warm weather person more. Besides, the farther along we get in the year, the closer it gets to apple season, and right now, it's apple season in the Southern hemisphere. I am so not obsessed. The nicer weather has made for some fun photo opportunities. I especially like it when there are quite a few clouds, but it's still sunny, like it was today. That makes for some really cool shots. I especially love it when you can make out the cloud shadows on the ground.
Birds are also a little easier to find, and I always like to get pictures of wildlife when I can, but that's a lot harder. You have to have some serious patience there. I'm hoping for the magpies to nest in Gayle's backyard again so I can try and work a few shots there. Now that we have it narrowed down to two nests, it should be easier to find them as long as they reuse the nests. But there are only so many places they can nest in the area, and there's a whole colony here, so I think we'll have decent luck with that.
I know that's not very long, but Derrek looks anxious, so I'm going to give him the computer back. Until next time! |

Ack! I missed by two hours! I had it all set up to do this, was all ready to go, and then I got distracted with our character creation jam and completely lost track of time! Does that count? It's only two hours. It's still my Tuesday!
I don't really have much of interest to say, either. At work, we've been working on last minute Easter pictures with people who just wait until the last minute. But I love Easter pictures. The cute outfits are always just so wonderful to see on the kids, especially the really little ones. And then they sometimes get to hold cute stuffed bunnies. We even had someone bring in a pet rabbit they had for her daughter to get pictures with. The bunny was so freaking cute. I think I want one.
I might have to just think about getting myself one. The more I see bunnies, the more I love them. I'd just have to go out and find one! I'm sure I can manage that.
I should get back to character creation jam!

Ugh. I'm just posting to say I'm an hour late. I was going to post after getting back from the store, since Derrek and I followed to bug accompany Becky and Mike, but it took a few hours. I heard this time isn't really going to probably count. Things have been pretty bad lately, after all. I haven't even thought too much about this to be completely honest, meaning it's another dry spell of two weeks. I should really try and think on something and then just sit down and do it early.

Wow, I have been so busy lately. Since my boss does off site shootings, I'm just been all over the city and beyond this holiday season! It's starting to quickly wind down, though, and then I get time off for a couple weeks. January is apparently the slowest month, so he's going to take a vacation, and I get one too! He's even giving me an extra paycheck for it, which is just darn nice of him, but he's proud of how well I held up to the season and kept my spirits up.
It was actually a lot of fun. I love working with the kids, especially. Working to make them like you is so important, and I just love to do it. I love kids a lot. So now I'm going to have to just take my camera out occasionally throughout January and try to get some good shots. Maybe I'll see if I can get farther out of the city where less melting has happening and find some good shots.
Christmas, as always, was perfect! I always enjoy the season so much! It adds to the joy of running around and taking Holiday photos.
My mind is still buzzing a bit, so I think I'll cut it off there. Happy Holidays, everyone!@ And have a happy New Year's Day! |

Things have been soooo busy lately! Lots of pictures to take and make into various things for presents, but lots of money to be made there! Not that I get most of it, but hey, I get some!
Anyway, I'm taking a vacation from the main continent of Tiralana now and moving south to Dracordian.

Okay, I've been trying to think of something to write, and no inspiration is coming to me today, which I guess isn't too surprising. So! I'm just going to say that I hoped everyone had a great weekend for now! I'm going to think more tonight, and if something comes to me, I'll put it up, but in case it doesn't, here's a filler post!
I'm sure something will come to me! Work has seriously been busy lately. That's no surprise at all, considering, but it's been fast and fun. I've enjoyed it a lot. Breaking out the Christmas stuff is great, and we've been working on pictures for you name it. I'm excited. I love the kids, especially, and the babies. Makes me want one!
With that, I'm off before I go too far down that track of thought! |

I'm still slow with this. I really need to kick in.
But, with the recent need to know about some of the area on the largest continent of Tiralana, I figured I'd focus there.
First, I'm going to link to the posts I made about Krimdom, the country to the north and west of Larion, where a certain group has now apparently taken over. It is amusing to have a blank slate and see what other people make of it as time goes by. It helps to really invent my world and give it history, and I like that a lot!
So here is the first post I made about Krimdon, and here is the second, which stretches a bit into Larion and Pandora both as well.
Now, I suppose I'll focus on Larion since it has suddenly become a country of great importance!

What to write here?
I really should start working on my world again and just post things on it every two weeks. That would actually motivate me to work on it harder than I have been lately, and that would be a good thing. So much has gone on, but pretty much everyone has talked about everything, and people who read this all know about it anyway!
So I think that's a good idea. I'll have to try and start doing it from now on. And it certainly wouldn't hurt to get more on my world done, especially since it's starting to become more important. I'll have to work more on the isle with the soul creatures next. It's probably my favorite of the places on Tiralana.
Life. Well, I can write about one of the experiences I had at work last Friday! It was quite the experience, sure. Note, when you own a business, make sure to put up what you won't do somehow somewhere, especially in businesses like photography. Friday morning, we had an appointment. The client wanted the photographs taken at his house, which isn't terribly uncommon, and so we packed up and headed out. When we got there, everything seemed normal until we walked into the room they had set up for the photography.
Then, as I quickly left, my boss had to explain to the people that he was not into the nude photography business, especially the sex nude photography... with three people. I guess they wanted to keep the memories on something they'd never done before.
Ahem.
So! We learned a valuable lesson. It wasn't the first time he had been called in for nudes, but it was the first time he'd been called in for a sex shot.
I just managed to forget telling anyone until now because of everything that's been happening. But now you all know, and I'm sure you're all the better for it. My poor innocence. |

Hey, everyone! I figured I'd better make a post so I don't forget tomorrow. I can't let Mike possibly beat me. I'd never live it down. Of course, I didn't really make this as an actual life journal, but that's okay, I'll bite anyway. I'm sure they're counting it.
So summer is great, my job is great, and I've been having a lot of fun. I've been busy with senior pictures recently. It's been a lot of fun. Someday I hope to have my own photography studio. That would be very awesome.
I've been getting out sometimes too to get pictures of the area. I'm notorious for just pulling over on the interstate to snap a shot when I see a good shot. I can't help it! It's not like you get more than one chance at pictures. I really need to try and get out more to get more. It's one of my favorite things to do.
I'm engaged now too! I actually have been for months, but I haven't been writing on here, so I thought I'd throw that in! I love it! It makes me very happy.
I think that's enough for now. I'll try to be more interesting next time! |

Okay! So I'm starting this thing just as a reference point for a world of mine that has been in the mix of my mind for years now!
Here, I can type out things and know that they're all kept in a pretty safe place. The best thing is that I can type them up anywhere and still have them be in one place! I was tempted to make a community, but I'd have to get a full blown journal for that, and the journal would probably be neglected!
So! Now I have this and that makes me happier! I like having a place to put these things and it will help me organize!
I will just have to start with the Ever-Burning Coasts since I know them best thus far! Though, once I remember the name of a country, I'll work on that one cause I want to get that country done! I hate not being able to find my main map! ARGH!
Oh well.
Edit: Oh. There's my map! GOOD! *scan!*
